We customize a special shoot just for the occasion. You bring the cake, we create the set. From balloon garlands to themed backdrops we want to make your cake smash something to remember.

Cake & Clothes
Prepare any outfits for your session (including post-smash!), we will be doing about 20 minutes of warming up photos before the big smash. Grab your cake and come on down!

After your session you will have the choice to either schedule a date to sit and go through all the images together for 10% off, or we will upload your photos online for you to peruse at your leisure. Your photos will be roughly culled and edited, not yet fine tuned. Once you are certain about which images you want to take home, we will perfect every little thing!
How do I purchase my images?
Sessions usually last 30-60 minutes, with the cake smash being the second half of the session. A lot of the process will be getting your little one to be comfortable in front of the camera so that they can enjoy their time and get the best images possible.
How long is the session?
Absolutely! If you have a fun idea we are more than happy to make it come to life! Make sure to chat about it with us beforehand though so that we can properly prepare and make your session the best it can be!
Can I bring my own props?
Order a cake! We recommend cake with whipped frosting instead of your standard buttercream or fondant as it make a much bigger mess and the kids are more likely to play with it. Prepare an outfit for the smash as well as after. Bring wet wipes and a towel!
KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS REALISTIC - Not all little ones like to get messy, they associate it with having to be cleaned up after, and may not be happy about it!
How do I prepare?
Yes BUT...
Toddlers don't always love being changed so be aware of their temperament for the session. (Let's be real, they are in charge.) Outfit changes are fine during the session but once we start smashing, it is not viable to change them again. Make sure to bring an outfit for them to wear AFTER!
Can we have an outfit change?
Schedule around your little one's nap time! A well-rested toddler is a happy toddler. Unless you make a special request for outdoor images we typically do our cake smashes in Pretty Nerdy Studio so lighting is not an issue!
