Sally and Richard’s elopement at Ned’s Point Lighthouse was a true celebration of love in its simplest, most beautiful form. With just the couple, their officiant (a close friend), and myself to witness the moment, the ceremony felt incredibly personal and intimate. The lighthouse, with its stunning coastal backdrop, provided the perfect setting for their private vows.
Sally’s black dress was a striking choice, complemented by a simple yet elegant bouquet, while Richard arrived in style with a classic Ford Fairlane that added a touch of glamour to their day. The contrast of the sleek black dress against the red and white leather interior of the car made for some unforgettable photos, capturing the couple’s unique style and joy.
Though we had to wrap up quickly as rain began to fall, the couple embraced the weather with smiles, believing that a little rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful, intimate celebration that will be remembered for years to come.
It’s ok to omit things from a wedding day. These two only needed each other, an officiant, and a photographer who also acted as a witness! It’s still a wedding, and boy is it still beautiful!
