Their Wedding Story

The closest thing that wedding photographers get to coworkers is working as a second shooter for other photographer’s weddings. One of our favorite people to work for is Paul of Paul J. Spetrini Photography in Rhode Island. We were so excited to get to work with Paul at The Barn at Blackstone National especially since that is one of our absolute favorite venues to photograph at!

We started the day hanging out with the guys as they awaited the ceremony time. They greeted guests as they arrived, directing them towards their seats. Once it was time to get start the sky became the perfect overcast, shading everyone in gorgeous even lighting. Paul and Becky worked as a team to make sure we could get both the front and the back of Jessica’s beautiful dress as they walked down the aisle. The couple confirmed their union with a mixing of candle wax beads and reading from loved ones. They also cracked each other up with each of their vows. With their first kiss done they whisked themselves back up the aisle surrounded by bubbles blow by each of their guests.

In the last few minutes of cocktail hour we brought Jessica and Daniel down to the bridge for their formal photos. These two knuckle-heads ended up just cracking each other up even more during their photo time. We headed back up the hill to get their reception started and right after they shared a first dance we were greeted by a surprise from the skies, a rainbow! It was the perfect end to our time with the couple as Paul finished up the rest of the night.
