Their Wedding Story

Alyssa & Jackson had a perfectly sweet wedding at Bittersweet Farms. From their first moment together to their last kiss of the night, we know these two were meant to be!

The day began at the ceremony, where Becky got to spend time awaiting the couple’s arrival by getting to know the guests awaiting the big moment. Everyone there was immediately welcoming and shared their excitement and laughed over jokes together. It wasn’t long before Jackson started his walk down the aisle to await his bride. Everyone rose together as Alyssa made her entrance, walking down the grassy path to meet her soon to be husband. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as these two shared their words of love, ending of course, with a kiss!

We quickly gathered family for their formal photos, keeping everyone in the shade on their particularly warm summer day, then whisked them all off to cocktail hour. Alyssa & Jackson only had eyes for each other during their photos, especially as we cuddled them together under the veil. Bittersweet Farms beautiful property made for the perfect backdrop for these two!

Cheers and applause met Alyssa & Jackson as they were introduced together as the newly married couple and everyone soon quieted down to watch their first dance. They swayed together as the music played, finishing the dance with a kiss. There were lots of tears and cheers as we listened to speeches by the parents of the couple and the brother of the bride. Alyssa had one final surprise for Jackson in the form of an “I Choose You” titled Pokemon ball cake! A gluten free cake, made special just for her new husband. Soon the dance floor opened and stayed lively thanks to some dedicated dancers in the guests who kept the party going all night long!

Don’t be afraid to budget your day to include only what you actually want! These two omitted the getting ready photo time to make room for what mattered to them during the reception. It’s ok not to have every moment of your day documented, just what matters to you!
