Their Wedding Story

Fiona and Tyler’s wedding day was full of fun and whimsy from start to finish. At no point did we ever see these two stop smiling, talk about wedding day goals!

The day began at Tyler’s hotel at the Seaport Inn and Marina in Fairhaven. This area is known for it’s gorgeous ocean ports so we were excited we could even see the ocean from the window of his hotel room! The guys got ready together, with Tyler’s father and best man putting on his final details. Then we quickly jumped across the bridge to The Kilburn Mill. Fiona was waiting for us with her wedding party, ready to get dressed. Mom and the bridesmaids helped her into her gown just in time for Dad to get the First Look with his daughter. Both of Fiona’s parents helped with the veil and with one final hug everyone was off to the ceremony!

The blue sky full of puffy clouds greeted each guest as they took their seats. Tyler was beaming as he saw his beautiful bride walk through the doors, Fiona smiled right back as she and her parents walked up the aisle. These two couldn’t stop the smiling except to cry happy tears through the whole ceremony. Friends and family shared readings, and with their rings exchanged and a kiss, these two were married!

We made quick work of their formal photo time, capturing the family and wedding party on the rooftop deck, and then heading down to the beach for some fabulous shots in the beautiful summer sun. Just as cocktail hour ended we snuck in some last shots of the sunset.

The reception space was decorated to purple perfection with a few extra touches from Fiona’s mom. Fiona & Tyler entered the space to uproarious applause, hoots, and hollering and they went right into all of their formalities. Their mothers both had all the guests in stitches and the maid of honor and best man’s speeches were downright heartwarming. After Fiona & Tyler’s first dance, both of them shared their parent dances and it was time to party! We ended the night with just a little night photo of the beautiful starry sky. All in all this day was just about perfection!
