Do you have a mood board, screenshot folder, Pinterest account, or instagram FULL of gorgeous images from other people’s wedding that you want for your special day? Great! But let’s talk about it. Pinterest and Instagram are great examples of the potential of wedding day photos. That doesn’t mean that every photographer is going to offer those exact types of images. Often, those images are the #1 most incredible image out of literally a million photos taken across hundreds of weddings. Maybe it was the perfect combination of many things going right! Maybe it’s that specific photographer’s specific style that isn’t commonplace anywhere else. Or maybe it’s an AI image and it’s not actually attainable for a variety of reasons. Before you let yourself fall in absolute love with specific photos, research what the photographers in your area are actually putting out! We recommend to every couple out there that you make sure to request a full wedding day catalog so you know what to expect!
