This wedding is another chapter in our work with Paul J. Spetrini Photography, our favorite fellow photographer. It took place at Whiteface Hollow, a newer venue to us in NH, but certainly a stunning location.
As usual when working as a second photographer we finally got a chance to hang out with all the guys! Their room was a little more open with all the accessories that any groom needs on a wedding day: a bar, instructions for how to tie a tie, and a semi-cursed doll wishing you the best of luck on your wedding day! The guys were each given a gift box full of presents including custom flasks and a white T-Shirt that all of them definitely forgot to bring for under their button-up. We love a prepared groom! With a quick cheers, it was time for first look!
It is a rare occasion indeed when both our bride and groom start crying happy tears but it’s always a welcome sight to see. Sarah & Dennis knew they’d have a lot of waterworks for their wedding day so they wanted to get all of that out together before the ceremony. Once they were fully dry, it was time for the ceremony under the biggest tree on the property! This was brilliant of course as in the bright June sun it kept everyone in perfect shade to enjoy their I Do’s.
Paul and I were especially excited to bring Sarah & Dennis out to the vineyards of Whiteface Hollow because it meant we got to play with our off-camera flash! It was bright out but that’s when the flash does it’s best, keeping the couple in shade and lighting then beautifully!
The reception began as I finished up the last of my time with Sarah & Dennis. Their wedding party made game day style entrances complete with sunglasses and confetti! Sarah & Dennis shared their first dance together, and ended finally with some tearful speeches by their parents and friends.
Congratulations again to Sarah & Dennis!
Make sure you have someone in charge of storing all your items for the day! You don’t want to have random people calling your phone while you’re busy on your wedding day, and trust us, your photographer doesn’t want to have photos of you with bulging pockets either. Put someone in charge of your stuff, maybe even in a nice custom tote bag for the big day!
