Jess & Brian’s wedding was the embodiment of a stress free wedding day. For that matter we’re not sure these two could have even had a stressful wedding if they tried, we are BIG fans of how they were down for absolutely anything!
We started the day with Jess already beautiful and ready to go in her getting ready jammies. All the girls were there with her including Jess & Brian’s dog Penny who was the only one dressed in her custom bridesmaid dress already! After some fun and bubbly all the ladies got dressed just in time for all the guys to arrive. We brought Jess’s dad in and together they shared a very sweet first look with each other. Now it was Brian’s turn. After letting the groomsmen bully Brian for an appropriate amount of manly affection, we brought him downstairs to the famous bowling alley at Hope Events on Main to share his first look with Jess privately.
It was instant smiles the moment Brian turned around to see his bride. Jess gave him a little twirl and then of course Penny made her entrance as well in her own custom doggie dress. We had a little extra time scheduled so the entire wedding party of groomsmen and bridesmaids soon arrived and we captured their formal photos (of course with a little flair!) and we were off to the ceremony!
The church was beautiful, adorned with flowers on each of the pew ends. We all gathered as Jess made her entrance looking absolutely stunning with both her father and mother on her arms as she descended the aisle. It was only moments before our Brian was in tears at the sight (we love a groom who’s not afraid to cry)! It meant even more to both of them that a close friend was overseeing the ceremony for them. Right after the ceremony there was instantly a rush of love from all those in attendance as Jess & Brian met everyone outside in a formal receiving line.
Once the crowd had been ushered off for cocktail hour it was finally our time to shine! The church made for a perfect background for the start of our photo adventure but that was just the beginning. Once we got back to Hope Event on Main, the rest of the creative juices were flowing! Jess & Brian were an absolute riot and were excited to do anything we would ask, leading to some of our favorite photos of the year!
Now introducing the new Mr. & Mrs. Brian & Jess!! The crowd of guests was clapping and cheering at their arrival, the two of them joined together and enjoyed their first dance. We quickly moved into speeches where the best man and maid of honor had everyone in absolute stitches. It was not long before the dance floor was open to everyone. Not only did we get to photograph the super fun money dance, but we eventually broke out a pole and started a limbo contest! The rest of the night was so much fun, Jess and Brian kept running back onto the floor for more partying!
Congratulations to Jess & Brian, we wish you many years of happiness to come!
Every wedding has a budget. When wedding planning, we highly recommend starting by sitting down together and talking about your priorities for the budget. Do you care more about the final look of the wedding day? Or having a band instead of a DJ? Do you want to have the nicest food? Or do you prefer something cheaper so you can invite more people? Do you want it more intimate? Or do you want the biggest party you can throw?
