We have worked with hundreds of couples over the years; and in that time we have learned that if you want a wedding that has it all, you either gotta have a lot of cash, or a lot of gumption. Elena and Anthony certainly had the gumption to make a night that was absolutely unforgettable for them and all of their guests.
We like to start your wedding day with photos of all your little details. Rings, cufflinks, shoes, invitations, and of course The Dress. Elena had so many beautiful details, all of them hand crafted by her and Anthony, that we got really excited to capture them all! The guys had custom jackets with stylish inner linings and their initials embroidered on their cuffs. The grandparents each had their own floral piece for their jacket pockets, complete with photos of each of them with Elena. Elena had a private first look with each of the grandparents just to present them with these as well! The bridesmaids even each had their own animal onesie to get ready in, making for a very memorable getting ready time. The only one who hasn’t been able to see Elena by this point was Anthony himself, so it was time to get into position for it.
Elena waited in a sunbeam for Anthony to walk down to see her for the first time. She wore a stunning gown covered in start with a soft touch of blue, and while we loved how she looked in the sun, we were really excited to photograph her with the stars later. Anthony arrives and after a moment to gather himself walked down the path to see his soon to be bride. They were both aglow with huge smiles at seeing each other dressed up for their big day. They both had private vows to share and couldn’t decide who should go first, of course this was quickly decided with a bout of rock-paper-scissors, Anthony won.
After that, the family and wedding party members all came down for their photos. (A move we usually recommend so you can spend the rest of your night partying instead of stopping for a photo shoot.) Once those were all set it was time to settle in for the ceremony! The details hadn’t stopped yet as Anthony and Elena made their own custom wooden wedding arch, and even set dried flowers at each of the seats for guests to throw at the end of the ceremony. Each family member had also been informed to bring a rock with them, fill it with your good intentions, and place it in a jar as a means to send off the happy couple with good luck and good energy! Those flowers petals really shown as the ceremony ended and Elena and Anthony dipped into a kiss at the end of the aisle, their friends and family showering them in the petals.
To no surprise the reception room was stunning with custom designed centerpieces on each table, funko pops of Elena and Anthony on the cake, and a neon sign with “The Iacobucci’s” hanging above the sweetheart table. The only thing left for us was to capture all the major moments of the reception including their first dance, speeches from their parents, best mand and maid of honor, and of course doing the cupid shuffle with grandma. A must have! We ended the night celebrating that final touch of celestial in Elena and Anthony’s outfits by capturing them with the milky way in the background and a final kiss.
Congratulations again to Elena & Anthony!
