Hannah & Michael may have made one of the best timeline’s we’ve ever gotten to work with on a wedding day. It made for the perfect amount of time to capture tons of photos while also getting to enjoy their wedding day!
We began our day with Hannah, getting ready at her mom’s office in their family home. The bold red room made for a great contrast to the elegant white dress. The girls finished up all their hair and make-up and we were off to the venue, Jones River Trading Post! Hannah got dressed with the help of her mother and bridesmaids, looking gorgeous as ever. Michael arrived, finishing his last minute touches with his best man in the reception area. We brought him out to a secluded spot outside in the shade so he could see his bride for their first look. Hannah tapped him on the shoulder and the two embraced. They then pulled out their vows and shared them privately together, saving the tears for this moment instead of letting it all out in front of the crowd during the ceremony. It was a sweet way to share their words of love in a private intimate way.
We had the whole property to play with as we captured hundred of portraits of these two together. We had plenty of time before the ceremony to get tons of variety from the hydrangea bushes to the riverside bench. Hannah was excited to capture as many photos of them together as possible! Once we had as many photos as we could muster, we came back inside for a break from the summer heat, and even tried a new pose utilizing the reflection in the window.
The ceremony was outside on the deck on this bright summer day. Hannah’s veil, handed down to her by her mother, swayed in the gentle breeze as everyone gathered around to watch her and Michael. Bridesmaids and groomsmen together had misty eyes as Hannah & Michael exchanged their rings and sealed their promises with a kiss. We gathered in the shade one final time to capture some of the final formal photos, including a photo of mom, grandma, and the girls, with their arms around each other, looking out together.
With all the formal photos of the day done, it was just time to capture candid moment for the rest of the evening. Hannah & Michael got to enjoy their day, stress-free as they hit all the major moments; cake cutting, speeches, parents dances, and of course a photo on the dance floor of everyone in attendance! They dance floor was rockin from the moment it opened until the end of the night, finishing with a fun shot right on the dance floor itself! It was truly a perfect day.
Congratulations again to Hannah & Michael!
