Their Wedding Story

Being nervous and not knowing what to do on your wedding day is a very common feeling for couples. After all, most people are only getting married for the first time! It makes sense! That’s where we take over to really help you shine on your wedding day. Of all the couples we have had the honor of capturing on their wedding day, Amanda & Mark really trusted us for the entire process and it made for some incredible results!

Starting out, Amanda looked stunning when we arrived, even before putting on her dress. We had so much fun getting ready and once she was in her gown we knew that Mark’s reaction would be something magical. We weren’t disappointed as we laughed and joked with Mark, getting his in position for first look. Right as he turned around to see Amanda there were immediate tears in his eyes, welling up with the emotion of the day. It’s always the big strong grooms that feel the emotions of their wedding the hardest and Mark’s tears triggered the same reaction in Amanda.

Their ceremony was beautiful in the perfect shade of Laurel Lane Country Club’s wedding pergola. We quickly sorted out family photos and were whisked around the course for photos in the secret spots that are just for couples. Amanda & Mark rejoined the party to uproarious applause from their guests and shared their first dance together. After a few more dances with their parent’s and with lots of cheers shared amongst the tables we snuck out with the couple for one last photo. It may be one of our absolute favorite images we’ve ever taken, using Amanda as our main subject standing in Mark’s silhouette. They really knocked this shot out of the park!

Thanks to the amazing trust from our couple, Amanda & Mark’s wedding day became one of the most favorite weddings we’ve ever done! Congratulations again you two!

Plan more than one time of day to get photos together as a couple! This way you’ll get a bigger variety of lighting and styles of shooting throughout your wedding day. It also gives you a back-up option in case your schedule is running a little behind!
